Angelo’s Bar-B-Que at 2533 White Settlement Road has served Fort Worth since Angelo George opened the business with his family in 1958. His grandson Jason George now carries the family tradition as pitmaster, preparing brisket, ribs, sausage, and other meats over hickory. The rustic dining rooms retain the restaurant’s hunting-lodge character, including mounted trophies and the large black bear near the entrance. Best for classic Fort Worth barbecue, a cold beer, and a longstanding family restaurant near the West 7th / Cultural District.
