Blue Flag Distillery is developing an American single malt whiskey destination at 701 Galveston Avenue in Fort Worth's Near Southside. Founder and president Will Rucker leads the project with an operations team that includes Nate Swan and Dakota Bartee. The distillery occupies the former Rahr & Sons brewery property and is designed to include production, events, retail, and a future tasting-room experience. The event space has begun limited use, but the public tasting room is still under development and does not have a confirmed opening date.
