One Trick Pony Pizza Tavern opened on South Main Street in June 2026 from Travis and Emma Heim, the founders of Heim Barbecue, in the former Hot Box Biscuit Club space. The concept centers on Chicago-style tavern pizza, a thin, crispy pie cut into squares, with The Big Hurt, topped with spicy Italian sausage and giardiniera, as the signature build, alongside housemade pasta, a double burger, and playful desserts like a build-your-own sundae served in a mini baseball helmet. A martini-forward cocktail program from local mixologist Tia Downey keeps the bar side just as serious as the kitchen. The Heims stepped away from barbecue in 2024 to build this new neighborhood pizza-and-cocktails concept from scratch. Best for a casual pizza-and-martini night out on South Main.
