OPENING LATE 2026
Shug's Bagels is coming to 5101 Camp Bowie Boulevard in Arlington Heights — the first Fort Worth location from Dallas bagel institution founder Justin Shugrue, who built the concept out of a homesickness for New York bagel and bodega culture during his senior year at SMU. The Fort Worth shop will occupy a 3,000-square-foot space on the triangular lot at Camp Bowie, Pershing, and Neville where Oasis Liquor operated for decades, undergoing a $1.5 million renovation that will preserve the iconic Oasis Liquor neon sign as part of the build-out. The menu is the same authentic, elevated New York-style bagel program that made the Dallas locations a regional staple: egg sandwiches, bagels by the dozen, bagels with cream cheese, lox sandwiches, chicken cutlet sandwiches, and coffee. Counter-service, walk-in focused, and the kind of shop the west side has been asking for. Construction begins August 2026 with a target opening of late 2027.
