Sink or Swim is an old-school dive bar planned for 104 South Main Street in Fort Worth’s Near Southside. Bartender David “Catfish” Flores is leading the project and has described a neighborhood bar focused on beer, shots, mixed drinks, and pool tables.
The project is also planned to reuse the original bar counter from Shipping & Receiving, the former South Main music venue. Fort Worth artist Jay Wilkinson is expected to paint an exterior mural. A state alcohol permit application for Sink or Swim Bar at the address was filed in August 2026, but no firm opening date has been announced.
