The Best Date Night Restaurants in Fort Worth Right Now
Fort Worth date-night restaurants worth returning to, from intimate Italian rooms and sushi counters to river views, polished neighborhood dining, and four drink-focused bonus stops.

[UPDATED JUNE 2026]
Fort Worth has a lot of great burgers. We also have a lot of great martinis. And we have really picked up in the happy hour space as well. But there’s a specific kind of evening that hits different: a well-made martini and a proper burger, both covered by happy hour and at a price that makes them feel like a great deal.
We noticed this combination popping up across the city and did the research to confirm exactly where it’s happening. Five spots, all doing it right, all during the week when you need it most.
Le Margot runs happy hour every single day from 3 to 6PM, which already puts it ahead of most. The room alone is worth the stop, pink chandeliers, red velvet booths, and a French bistro energy that feels genuinely transporting. The Royale with Cheese is a cheeseburger doused in melted brie, built from beef raised on chef Felipe Armenta’s own ranch, and it goes for $10 during happy hour. Pair it with a $7 martini of your choosing and you have one of the more elevated happy hours in the city at a price that’s hard to argue with.
The Combo: $7 martini + $10 Royale with Cheese burger
Burger + Martini Combo: $17 (pre-tax and tip)
When: Every day, 3-6PM
Where: Available at the bar and on patio
Hudson House is one of the busiest happy hour rooms in Fort Worth, and the martini and burger combination is a big reason why. The martinis here are famous, billed as the World’s Coldest, and they drop from $16 to $8 during happy hour. Add the $10 cheeseburger, thin patties, American cheese, and Hudson sauce, and you’re walking out having spent $18 before tax and tip. Monday through Friday, 3 to 6PM at the bars or on the patios. Get there early, the bar and patios fill up fast!
The Combo: $8 martini + $10 cheeseburger
Burger + Martini Combo: $18 (pre-tax and tip)
When: Monday-Friday, 3-6PM
Where:Available at either bar and on patio
Walloon’s sits inside the historic LaCava building on Magnolia, tin ceilings, terrazzo floors, soft lighting, a room that works equally well for a solo martini at the bar or a full table of friends. The happy hour burger is a clean $11 a la carte build, and the dirty vodka martini runs $8. Grey Goose, served icy cold. At $18 combined, the whole thing feels like a deal given the room and the quality.
The Combo: $8 dirty vodka martini + $11 a la carte burger
Burger + Martini Total: $19 (pre-tax and tip)
When: Monday-Friday, 3-6PM
Where: Available throughout the whole restaurant
The Mont launched happy hour last fall and the Montini alone made it worth paying attention to. It’s their house martini at $12, and it pairs with a $16 wagyu burger that’s one of the more serious happy hour food offerings in Fort Worth. The mid-century modern room in West Fort Worth is exceptionally well-designed, and the happy hour menu reads more like a full dinner menu with better pricing. This is the call when you want to feel like you found something.
The Combo: $12 Montini + $16 wagyu burger
Burger + Martini Total: $28 (pre-tax and tip)
When: Tuesday-Saturday, 4-6PM
Where: Available at the bar only
Clay Pigeon has the tightest window on this list, one hour, Monday through Friday from 5 to 6PM, but it’s worth planning around. The $13 burger comes with cheddar, LTOP, and burger sauce on a well-built bun. The $9 martini is a classic, Citadelle gin, Dolin dry vermouth, orange bitters, done properly. At $22 combined it’s the highest price point on this list, but also the most refined experience. The 1925 White Settlement Road building has the kind of bones that make a weeknight drink feel like an occasion.
The Combo: $9 martini + $13 burger
Burger + Martini Total: $22 (pre-tax and tip)
When: Monday-Friday, 5-6PM
Where: Available throughout the whole restaurant
This is a short list by design. These are the five spots in Fort Worth where both the burger and the martini are on the happy hour menu at the same time, confirmed. Whether you’re doing a proper weeknight wind-down or just trying to find the best deal in the city on two things that go surprisingly well together, start here.
Not all of them. Le Margot is the only spot on this list running the burger and martini combo seven days a week. Hudson House, Walloon’s, and Clay Pigeon are Monday through Friday only. The Mont runs Tuesday through Saturday. If you’re planning a weekend stop, Le Margot is your only confirmed option.
Le Margot at $17 total is the lowest price point on the list, and you’re getting a brie-doused burger from a chef-driven French bistro. Hudson House and Walloon’s both come in at $18 and are close seconds. Clay Pigeon at $22 is the priciest but also the most refined experience of the five.
For most of them, no. Hudson House, Walloon’s, and Clay Pigeon are first-come, first-served at the bar. The Mont and Le Margot can fill up, especially Thursday and Friday, so arriving closer to opening time is smart if you’re going with a group.
