The Best Date Night Restaurants in Fort Worth Right Now
Fort Worth date-night restaurants worth returning to, from intimate Italian rooms and sushi counters to river views, polished neighborhood dining, and four drink-focused bonus stops.

[UPDATED JUNE 12, 2026]
May in Fort Worth is a sweet spot. The heat hasn’t arrived yet, the evenings are long, and there’s no better time to find a good patio or a comfortable bar stool and let the afternoon stretch into the evening.
We rounded up the best happy hours happening right now – spots where the deals are too good to miss, crowd favorites with hidden deals, and spots where the vibe makes it easy to stay for one more.
Le Margot runs happy hour every single day from 3 to 6PM, which already makes it more frequent than most. Add in the French-inspired room, the pink chandeliers, and a great cocktail menu, and you have one of the more elevated happy hours in the city right now.
The $3 oysters are a great deal as well. At that price point, ordering a round while you decide what you’re doing with the rest of your evening is an easy call. The $7 house cocktails and $10 “Royale with Cheese” burger round out an hour that doesn’t feel like a budget compromise.
Happy Hour Times: Every Day from 3-6PM
Menu Highlights:
Crystal Springs Hideaway opened in the River District a little over a year ago and has quickly become one of the best patios for happy hour in Fort Worth.
Happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday from 11AM to 6PM – which quite possibly might be the longest window of happy hour availability in town. With 25 draft taps, a full cocktail menu, burgers from Big Kat Burgers, and a wine-and-cheese shop on site, there’s a little bit of something for everyone here than the beer garden vibe might suggest.
Happy Hour Times: Tuesday-Friday from 11AM-6PM
Menu Highlights:
Tokyo Cafe doesn’t need much of an introduction in Fort Worth. Tokyo Cafe has been a neighborhood anchor for years, and the happy hour has always been part of the draw for folks in the neighborhood, but under-the-radar for others around town.
The happy hour menu format is distinct: a rotating selection of small plates, each priced at $6 individually or three for $15, alongside discounted specialty cocktails, “Surprise Me” wines, and draft beer (check their Instagram + Facebook for each week’s dishes!). This week’s features are thai curry udon, kale & carnitas eggrolls, and salmon tartar.
Happy Hour Times: Monday-Friday from 3-6PM
Menu Highlights:
The Mont sits on the western edge of Fort Worth near Montserrat. The space is a beautiful mid-century vibe and the food and drink menus are elevated and exceptional. Happy hour here is a great opportunity to try some of their most popular dishes without breaking the bank.
The Copper Crans, Pear Francais, and Montinis are all $12 during the window, while the wagyu burger at $16 seals the deal. We’re sensing a theme of discounted martinis and top tier burgers around town and we’re not mad about it.
Happy hour is every day they’re open (Tuesday through Saturday) from 4PM until 6PM. Making it great to get to weekend date night a bit early and take advantage.
Happy Hour Times: Tuesday-Saturday from 4-6PM
Menu Highlights:
Fixe runs happy hour every single day, 3 to 6PM, and the menu leans into Southern comfort in exactly the right way. The deviled eggs with trout roe, hush puppies, and a fish fry at $14 are the kinds of things you order because they’re actually good, not just because they’re discounted.
The drink list covers the basics – $8 wells and cocktails, $6 beers, $10 wines – without trying too hard. It’s a reliable, well-run happy hour from a kitchen that takes the food seriously. Good for a solo bar stop, easy for groups. The room works for either.
Happy Hour Times: Every Day from 3-6PM

If your happy hour needs are more cocktail-forward than food-forward, Blackland Distilling is a great stop. The Tuesday through Thursday window (4-6:30PM) give you plenty of time for a pre-dinner drink, and the $10 house cocktail lineup includes some fun options – the texpresso martini and the salted pecan old fashioned are both built around some of Blackland’s most popular spirits.
The half-price small bites (hummus, marinated olives and feta, sweet and spicy nuts) are solid accompaniments. It’s a distillery happy hour with intention behind it.
Happy Hour Times: Tuesday-Thursday from 4-6:30PM
Menu Highlights:
Fort Worth Founded newsletter subscribers are getting an exclusive offer from Blackland this month – full 2 oz pours for $1 or $2 depending on the spirit. Subscribe here and we’ll send it your way!
