The Best Date Night Restaurants in Fort Worth Right Now
Fort Worth date-night restaurants worth returning to, from intimate Italian rooms and sushi counters to river views, polished neighborhood dining, and four drink-focused bonus stops.

[UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2026]
September in Fort Worth is where late summer and football season overlap. The patios start feeling manageable after the sun goes down, game-day plans take over the weekends, and a good happy hour becomes an easy way to turn a weekday into something more interesting.
This month’s picks lean food-forward, with discounted dinners, late-night sushi, rooftop cocktails, and one obvious football-season stop. None of these appeared in our April or May happy-hour guides, and each brings something different to the table right now.

Terra just gave its happy hour a meaningful upgrade. The West 7th restaurant has added a new food menu built for the after-work window, including a $12 lamb burger with fries, while martinis have joined the drink lineup.
The 5-to-7 schedule also starts later than most happy hours in town, which makes it very useful when leaving work at 5 does not mean sitting down five minutes later. Add house wines and Wednesday bottle pricing, and this is one of the clearest reasons to revisit Terra right now.
Happy Hour Times: Monday–Friday from 5–7PM
Menu Highlights:
Little Tavern gives the Cultural District a happy hour that works equally well for a quick drink, a low-key date, or a pre-Dickies and museum stop. The compact menu is the strength here: straightforward cocktails, wines, and genuinely useful $5 snacks rather than a long list of token discounts.
The classic martini and frozen cocktails give you two very different directions, while the food lineup—queso, deviled eggs, grilled artichokes, and more—makes it easy to build an early dinner out of happy-hour plates.
Happy Hour Times: Monday–Friday from 3–5:30PM
Menu Highlights:
Oishii’s Fort Worth happy hour is a late-night one, running Sunday through Wednesday at the Colonial location. That alone makes it useful: most happy hours are long over by the time this one begins, and the menu covers enough sushi, small plates, cocktails, sake, and wine to make it a full second dinner.
The four-piece roll portions make it easy to try several things without ordering a full roll each time. Tuesday is the strongest night if you are going with a group, when bottles of wine are also half price.
Happy Hour Times: Sunday–Wednesday from 8:30–10PM
Menu Highlights:
Buffalo Bros earns the football-season spot on this month’s list. The TCU location is built for game days, but its weekday happy hour is just as useful for an early kickoff, a post-work meetup, or a round of wings before the evening crowd arrives.
The real value is in the food: 75-cent boneless wings and half-price pizza slices make it one of the few happy hours where feeding a group can matter as much as the drink discounts.
Happy Hour Times: Monday–Friday from 3–6PM
Menu Highlights:
Meraki has the kind of happy hour that makes you check the fine print twice: half off all food and beverages in the Bar & Lounge. The window is only an hour, but it applies across a menu that includes spreads, raw dishes, wood-fired kebabs, cocktails, and wine.
It is especially useful for an early dinner near TCU, and the Friday-and-Saturday reverse happy hour gives the same deal a second life later in the evening. If you want to explore more of Meraki’s menu without committing to full dinner pricing, this is the move.
Happy Hour Times: Wednesday–Saturday from 4:30–5:30PM
Reverse Happy Hour: Friday–Saturday from 10–11PM
Menu Highlights:
Tinie’s gives South Main a more polished happy hour without making the deal complicated: $4 off every cocktail and $3 off every appetizer. That means the discount applies to the drinks people actually come here for, from the Casita Margarita to the more ambitious agave-driven cocktails.
The rooftop and Escondite make this especially well timed for September, when Fort Worth evenings finally start giving you a reason to sit outside again. Arrive early, order a few appetizers for the table, and let happy hour turn into dinner.
Happy Hour Times: Monday–Thursday from 4–6PM
