The Best Oktoberfest Events in Fort Worth in 2026
[UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2026]
Fort Worth’s Oktoberfest season stretches from mid-September into late October, with everything from Trinity Park’s three-day celebration and two lederhosen-friendly 5Ks to brewery parties, German beer dinners and a late-season weekend in the River District.
These are the best Oktoberfest events happening in Fort Worth in 2026, ordered by the experiences we think are most worth planning around. Event details can change, so check the linked event page before heading out.
Fort Worth’s signature Oktoberfest returns to Trinity Park for three days of German beer, bratwurst, schnitzel, pretzels, live polka and folk dancing. The schedule also includes the opening-night keg tapping, steinholding, a yodel contest, Oktoberfest Olympics, the Dachshund Parade and Dash, barrel rolling, carnival rides and the Marktplatz.
Thursday and Friday are evening sessions; Saturday is the all-day option and carries most of the family programming.
Dates: September 24–26, 2026
Hours: Thursday and Friday, 5–11PM; Saturday, 11AM–midnight
Admission: $10 Thursday; $15 Friday or Saturday; $20 three-day pass. Children 12 and younger are free with a paying adult.
The Fort Worth Oktoberfest 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk start Saturday morning before the festival gates open. Both routes run through Trinity Park and along the Trinity Trail; the 5K is USATF-certified and relatively flat.

Maple Branch spreads its Oktoberfest celebration across three days, with live polka, steinholding and best-dressed contests in the brewery’s Foundry District biergarten. Dates: September 19, 25 and 26, 2026
Doors: 11AM each day
Highlights: Live polka, steinholding and best-dressed contests
Crystal Springs Hideaway stretches Oktoberfest season into late October with two evenings of live German music in its River District beer garden. The Dogensteins are scheduled from 7–10:30PM both nights.
The setting is already a natural fit—German-style beer garden tables, beer served in glass steins and Big Kat Burgers on site—but Crystal Springs has not yet announced the full Oktoberfest food, drink or admission details.
Dates: October 23–24, 2026
Live music: 7–10:30PM both nights
Details: Additional programming and admission information to come
Stocktoberfest brings a Fort Worth version of Oktoberfest to the Stockyards from September 18–20. The most complete single event happens at Second Rodeo on Saturday, with the Edelweiss Band playing German drinking songs and Oktoberfest standards alongside the brewery’s limited-time Oktoberfest beer.
The schedule includes a 1:45PM tapping of a 200-plus-year-old German keg, a chicken-dance contest at 2PM and steinholding at 2:45PM. Space for the keg tapping and contests is limited, with registration available on site until spots are filled.
Stocktoberfest: September 18–20, 2026
Second Rodeo event: September 19, 1–4:30PM
Location: 122 E. Exchange Ave., Suite 340

On September 21, Central Market’s tasting team pours five German wines with family-style light bites. It is a more compact, wine-focused way to mark the season.

Ellerbe’s Around the World dinner series turns to Oktoberfest on September 24 with a three-course menu and beer pairing. It is the sit-down option for anyone who wants seasonal German flavors without committing to the festival crowds at Trinity Park.
The dinner runs throughout the evening rather than as one fixed seating, with reservations listed between 5 and 8:45PM.

Hours: 5–8:45PM
Format: Three-course Oktoberfest menu with beer pairing
The 17th annual Rahr Brewing Company Oktoberfest 5K takes over Flying Saucer in Sundance Square on October 3. Registration includes the race shirt, custom finisher medal, commemorative pint glass, two Rahr beers and entry to the post-race Oktoberfest party.
