Fort Worth date-night restaurants worth returning to, from intimate Italian rooms and sushi counters to river views, polished neighborhood dining, and four drink-focused bonus stops.

[UPDATED JULY 2026]
A cold martini and a fresh oyster is one of those combinations that doesn’t need explaining. Fort Worth has a handful of spots doing both on the happy hour menu at the same time, and we tracked all of them down. Six spots, all confirmed, all worth planning your weeknight around.
Hudson House is one of the most reliably busy happy hour rooms in Fort Worth, and the oyster and martini combination is exactly why. East Coast oysters drop to $3 each while the house martinis, billed as the World’s Coldest, go from $16 to $8. The raw bar energy, the crowd, and the espresso martinis make this one of the more fun weekday stops in the city. Bar only, first come first served. Get there early.
The Combo: $3 oysters + $8 martini
Oyster + Martini Combo: $11 for one oyster and one martini, or $26 for a half dozen and a martini (pre-tax and tip)
When: Monday-Friday, 3-6PM
Where: Bar and patio only
Le Margot is the most accessible oyster and martini happy hour in the city by schedule since it runs every single day. The French brasserie setting, pink chandeliers, red velvet booths, and an oyster and martini at $10 combined make it hard to argue with. Chef Felipe Armenta’s $3 oysters and $7 house cocktails including martinis are the draw. The room alone is worth the stop.
The Combo: $3 oysters + $7 house martini
Oyster + Martini Combo: $10 for one oyster and a martini, or $25 for a half dozen oysters and martini (pre-tax and tip)
When: Every day, 3-6PM
Where: Bar and patio only
Dos Mares is the most creative entry on this list. The sister concept to Don Artemio, Dos Mares runs $2 East Coast oysters daily from 3-6PM served with mignonette and house-made dry chili sauce, alongside a full martini lineup that includes a Classic Martini, Dirty Martini, Cosmopolitan, Mexican Martini, Pomegranate, and Espresso Martini. The flight of three oysters for $20 is worth knowing about, and the Tiny Tini Tree for parties of four or more makes this one of the better group options on the list. Nowhere else in Fort Worth is doing both at this price point.
The Combo: $2 East Coast oysters + martinis from $7
Oyster + Martini Combo: From $9 for one oyster and one martini, or $27 for a flight of three oysters and a martini (pre-tax and tip)
When: Every day, 3-6PM
Where: Check with restaurant
Walloon’s sits inside the historic LaCava building on Magnolia, and the raw bar is one of the better oyster programs on the Near Southside. During happy hour, a half dozen cold water oysters on the half shell run $20 and the dirty vodka martini, Grey Goose served icy cold, is $8. The room is warm and unhurried, the bar staff knows what they’re doing, and the combination lands well.
The Combo: $20 half dozen oysters + $8 dirty vodka martini
Oyster + Martini Combo: $28 (pre-tax and tip)
When: Monday-Friday, 3-6PM
Where: Throughout the restaurant
Waters is the most serious oyster and martini happy hour on this list. Chef Jon Bonnell’s Sundance Square seafood restaurant runs half-price oysters and $7 dirty gin martinis finished with blue cheese-stuffed olives every single day from 4 to 6PM. The Dirty Dozen at half price alongside a martini on the tree-topped back patio is the move. It’s easy to turn happy hour into dinner here, and most people do.
The Combo: $30 flight of 12 East Coast oysters + $7 dirty gin martini with blue cheese olives
Oyster + Martini Combo: $37 for the 12 oysters and a martini (pre-tax and tip)
When: Every day, 4-6PM
Where: Bar and patio only
Pacific Table is less of a dedicated oyster bar and more of a refined American restaurant with a strong raw bar program. During happy hour, oysters go to half price and martinis run $9, which makes it a solid value for a Near Southside stop. The room is bright and well-designed, the service is reliable, and the combination works well for a weeknight wind-down.
The Combo: Half-price oysters + $9 martini
Oyster + Martini Combo: Varies by oyster selection (pre-tax and tip)
When: Monday-Friday, 3-6PM
Where: Bar only
